Take the Cube Apart

Turn the UP face one eighth of a turn, and then push up on one of the edge pieces as indicated by the picture. The first time you do this it will be really tight, and you might want to use a screw driver or something. But after that it will become looser. To put it back together, assemble the cube one layer at a time, and put in the last piece just like you took it out: Turn the UP face an eighth of a turn and jam the edge piece back in. Be warned that taking your cube apart and putting it back together a lot makes it really loose. The only way to tighten it is to pry the covers off the center pieces and tighten the screws, but this really screws your cube up (pun intended).
